Whew! Have you ever get the feeling of “We made it!” over something big? That’s how I feel about the Pictures With Santa event that Park Community hosted this year. It was awesome to be a part of the action, though! We gave out hundreds of free pictures with Santa and hopefully even more smiles to the children and their families. If you didn’t get to join us this year for the event, Santa might make an encore appearance next year! Now that things are starting to settle down a little bit, I’m ready to kick back and spend some time with the family this holiday. I didn’t get to buy as many presents this year as I have in the past, but we’re still just happy to be in each other’s company since my family is so spread out and we hardly get to see each other. I hope your holiday season is filled with the same kind of joy, appreciation, and an overall positive attitude that carries on over to 2009. With the economy the way it is, spending quality time with family can be very rewarding and, as always, will be free of charge! So put a smile on your face and enjoy the holiday season with the people you love!
