I haven’t directly mentioned it before; however, you can leave a comment about your service with Park Community on our blog’s “About” page. You don’t have to have an account with WordPress, and the comment can be anonymous if you’d like it to be. We love hearing from our members and inquiring minds alike, and we would like you to chime in. Our friend Jude has already done so today and pioneered the way for everyone else. Thanks for the kind words, Jude! We’re glad we make such a positive influence on your life!
Check out our Park events page!
March 18, 2009Toward the top of this page you’re on, you should see a link to our “Park Events” section of the blog. This will be updated periodically to bring you information regarding new products, services, seminars, and anything else we’re doing for our members! About 2 minutes ago, I updated it to show that we’re hosting a free seminar on how to buy a used car. It’s free, educational, and there will even be snacks and drinks provided! RSVP information is on our Events page if you’re interested.
Look for the blog entry contest in the Thrive!
March 16, 2009If you get the Thrive, you should notice that we’re having a blog entry contest for our Thrive recipients this time around. Not only does the winning entry get published right here on our blog, but the author will receive a Visa gift card! How cool is that?
So be thinking about how the current economic situation has affected you and your family and what steps you’ve taken to “thrive” amidst the turmoil. Be sure to include your contact information along with your entry! Again, this contest will only be available to addressed recipients of the Thrive newsletter, so keep a lookout! You could be a winner!
Shopping the Competition
March 2, 2009Very recently, as part of my ongoing training as a Park Community employee, I had the privilege of attending a service/sales class. One part of this class was to go to financial institutions of our choice and rate them according to customer service, product knowledge, and overall rates. I must say that what I learned was that I really do take Park for granted in terms of a financial institution rather than an employer. Although most every financial institution has friendly customer/member service representatives, Park Community goes the extra mile and further assists you rather than just giving you a brochure and urging you to come back. With Park Community’s ongoing employee training, calling over a manager to explain a question about rates or policies is rare if not nonexistent. Park’s rates are very competitive and some of the best around. Not only that, Park Community’s support of dozens of local community events sets us apart in a league of our own. I love this credit union not only for what it does for me in terms of a full-service financial institution that is still growing amidst an economic crisis, but what it does for my community as well!
