Great article about credit unions’ role

In the state that the economy is in, it’s no wonder that many are trying to make comparisons between our current situation and that of the great depression nearly a century ago.  An article I came across explains why credit unions weathered the great depression so well and how that role could very likely be repeated in the present day.  The author, Paul Hazen, is the CEO of the National Cooperative Business Association and makes great points as to why a credit union is a great choice when considering a financial institution.

I think that sums it up perfectly. I was hesitant at first to switch to a small credit union for all of my banking from having a large bank but I have had nothing but great things to say about them so far. Much more professional and helpful customer service, lower interest rates, and people who are willing to work with you to help make your money go farther.
Thanks Park, for everything you do for us!
