Before I go into the new promotion that our members (and those wishing to become members) can participate in, I’d like to share something. I came across an e-mail about week or two ago from the Park Community staff at our Hillview branch that told of over 150 Easter coloring contest entries being submitted, which is just awesome! Thank you to all those who colored a Easter Bunny Parkie and the Hillview staff! Also, congratulations to the winners! Now, if you’d like to be involved with Hillview’s next promotion, here’s your chance!
Derby time has crept up on us, and Hillview has come up with a “Win. Place. Show.” promotion! Here’s how it works: A member or someone wanting to be a member (who meets the eligibility requirements) walks in, makes some sort of lobby transaction, and gets an entry or entries into a drawing. The type of transaction determines the number of entries submitted. Making a teller transaction = 1 entry. Opening a new account = 2 entries. Taking out a loan = 5 entries.
The real twist is that each entry is associated with a horse participating in the Kentucky Derby. At the time of the transaction, the member will be allowed to draw the name(s) of participating horses and fill out respective entry form(s). There are no limits on the total quantity of entries by a member, either.
Once Derby Day comes, if a member has an entry or entries associated with a horse that wins, places, or shows, that member will be placed into a drawing for one or more of the awesome prizes! As for the prizes themselves, they’re a secret right now, but rest assured that they are very nice!
